You know that saying, “when you’re talking to everyone, you’re talking to no one”?
So, how do you talk to ONE PERSON to build your business?
Does it feel like you’ll miss out on SO MANY clients? What do you do if you can actually help so many different kinds of people?
It’s important to start here.
You need to do this work. Trust us. This is the KEY step that most Health Coaches skip because they are just trying to get clients. Just one client! But, if you’re not resonating with the RIGHT clients, you won’t be building the fulfilling business you desire long-term.
Think about this:
Choosing a Health Coach is a BIG DEAL for your client. They are investing time and money (sometimes a lot of money) into ONE PERSON who they believe can solve their most difficult problem. And, usually, we are privileged to know our clients’ secret fears, thoughts and behaviors. They need to know they can trust us.
And the way to build trust is…..
Talk directly to that ONE ICP. Speak to their fears, their desires. You will intimately resonate with the RIGHT clients.
That’s when the magic happens.
If you don’t already know who your ICP is, start here. If you *think* you know who your ICP is, let’s see if you’ve really “niched down” to where you need to be.
Start by asking yourself these questions and continue to follow the PDF included below. That’s right. Print it out, make it messy and make it detailed and then hang it above your desk to REMIND you everyday (before every instagram post), WHO you are trying to reach!
1. What is your ICP’s gender, age, marital status? Do they have children?
2. What are the top 3 things that matter to your ICP? (is it buying organic food? Is it eating healthy while working a corporate job? Is it homeschooling their children?)
3. What is the #1 thing your ICP struggles with?
